About The Position
The Certified Nurse Aid works under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide direct patient care in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
Requirements
- Active NY State Nurse Aid Certification
- New Graduate Candidates: An unofficial transcript showing successful completion with a letter grade of B or better of a Nursing 101 course from an accredited nursing school program
- BLS required within three months of hire
Responsibilities
- Provides direct, comprehensive, and family-centered patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Delivers exceptional customer service and communicates patient conditions to nursing staff to support positive outcomes.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and patient-focused environment in alignment with care standards.
