We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Certified Nurse Aids (CNA) to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters Casual/per diem positions picking up 2nd shift (afternoons 2:00-10:30) at our Buffalo convent home located on Doat Street/ Pine Ridge (near Cheektowaga) We offer GREAT BENEFITS (up to $1000 employee referral bonuses, annual % pay increases, paid time off (PTO) per year, PTO payout every year, comprehensive benefits package, and more)! The hourly range for this position is $18.45 - $21.83 for Certified Nurse Aids. Wage will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located.
Nice To Haves
- Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Our CNAs provide direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
- Our CNAs are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
- This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
