Job Description Salary: starting at $18.50 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Full Time, Days and Hours Vary The Resident Assistant provides assistance to residents in a manner that meets or exceeds community expectations. You may be required to respond to emergency calls and situations; document and report care provided; and transport residents to various functions or locations. Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role. Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair, and maintaining resident apartments Document and report care provided and resident observations Obtain vital signs, heights, and weights.

Requirements

Must be an active Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Kansas
A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
If you are under the age of 18, you must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)
Must complete all state educational requirements, CPR is preferred
A First Aid certification and Heimlich Maneuver training, may be facilitated by the company
High School diploma or equivalent is required
All state educational requirements for the position must be met.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with an elderly population, particularly memory care is preferred.

Responsibilities
