About The Position

Tioga Medical Center is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide essential care to patients in both long-term care and hospital settings. This role involves assessing patients' daily care needs, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with various shift options available.

Requirements

• Active CNA certification in good standing with the State of North Dakota.
• Active BLS certification.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to observe daily living needs of residents and provide quality care.
• Ability to learn and comprehend basic medical terminology.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess assigned patient's daily care needs.
• Provide or assist assigned patients with their daily care needs and activities according to established procedures.
• Perform specific medical care activities to contribute to the patient's plan of care.
• Implement safety and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assist in the Emergency Room as needed with various tasks.
