The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents, adhering to resident assessments and care plans. Key duties include assisting residents with daily living tasks such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing food intake, and providing hair and nail care. The CNA also assists with moving residents, responds to calls, and carries out duties in accordance with established resident care policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities involve measuring and recording vital signs as assigned by the Charge Nurse, identifying and reporting situations that could lead to resident accidents or injuries, contributing insights into resident conditions for care plans, and observing and reporting any changes in residents' symptoms, reactions, or overall condition to the Charge Nurse.
