Requirements
- Applicants should possess High School Diploma or GED
- CNA licensed required
- Basic Life Support or acquire within 3 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- One year of acute care or one-year long-term care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Participates in Patient Care Team’s delivery of personalized, efficient care with respect for patient’s spiritual and cultural differences.
- Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness and cost in delivery of patient care.
- Orients patient and family to room and call bell.
- Upon admission, obtains initial vital signs, height and weight.
- Records daily I & O, vital signs, and food intake into the electronic medical record.
- transports patients via appropriate means in a safe and dignified manner. Adheres to patient activity restrictions.
- Establishes positive relationships with patients/families and reports patient/family concerns accurately and concisely to appropriate care team members.
