Requirements

Familiar with medical terminology
Ability to demonstrate competency in required skills
Understanding and implementation of patient rights
Ability to be courteous, diplomatic, and tactful when interacting with others
Ability to remain calm, follow directions, and function effectively during emergent, urgent, or unexpected events
Ability to prioritize tasks
Interpersonal skills a must
Excellent communication
CNA Certification for the State of Michigan
