Join our team on a 27-bed Medical-Surgical unit where compassionate,
patient-centered care is at the heart of everything we do. As part of a
collaborative team of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants
(CNAs), you will care for a diverse patient population while building strong
clinical skills in a supportive environment.

With a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and 1:12 CNA-to-patient ratio, you will play a
vital role in comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, treatment
administration, and promoting patient comfort and safety. Our unit fosters
teamwork, open communication, and professional growth, empowering you to make a
meaningful impact on patient outcomes every day.

Requirements

• Applicants should have a current listing as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the state of North Carolina Division of Facility Services
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Licenses: Current Listing as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the state of North Carolina Division of Facility Services with no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property in a facility that provides Nursing Care.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, required

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
• Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
