About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is actively seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join their team. With a newly opened office covering the Richmond area, BAYADA is looking for dedicated caregivers to provide essential home health care services to clients in locations such as Richmond, Chesterfield, Petersburg, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, Glen Allen, Henrico, and New Kent. Requirements

• Minimum one year work experience
• Certificate of at least 75 hours of Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA training
• Current CNA license listed in good standing with the board
• Current PCA Certificate from approved educational institution

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers /use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance

Benefits

• Base Pay: $17 - $18 / hour depending on qualifications.
• Home Care Field Employees are eligible for any of BAYADA’s group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits if you work an average of 30 hours per week over a 3-month measurement period.
• Home Care Field Employees working less than 30 hours per week are eligible for the Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans.
