We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) + Medication Aide to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff while also administering medications per state regulations. The ideal candidate will ensure residents receive high-quality care while promoting a safe and comfortable environment. Key Responsibilities: Resident Care Duties: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Provide compassionate and respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy. Monitor and report changes in residents' health and well-being to nursing staff. Assist with meal service and feeding as needed. Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance. Medication Administration Duties: Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications as directed and in accordance with state guidelines. Observe residents for medication side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns to nursing staff. Maintain proper medication storage, labeling, and disposal per facility policy. Ensure compliance with medication administration protocols and infection control procedures. General Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident records. Assist with transfers and positioning of residents using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment. Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote emotional and physical well-being. Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
