About The Position
Clay County Medical Center is currently seeking a patient-centered Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for a PRN position to assist during periods of high census or when full-time staff are unavailable. This role supports high-quality patient care in a hospital setting and works closely with nursing and clinical staff.
Requirements
- Current Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Eligible to work as a CNA in the state of Kansas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Support nursing staff with patient care tasks
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
