Testing procedures may include: Multi-modality Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (IONM), Long Term Monitoring in Epilepsy (LTME), EEG, Evoked Potential, Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV), Autonomic Function Tests (AFT) and Transcranial Doppler (TCD) recordings. Testing may be performed in the Neurodiagnostic Labs, operating rooms, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, patient bed side and other specialized patient care areas. Changing the Future of the Neurodiagnostic Lab Department: The Neurodiagnostic Lab Department is dedicated to providing a comprehensive battery of outpatient neurological testing procedures at Stanford Health Care. Our specialty-trained technologists and board-certified neurologists perform electroneurodiagnostic testing in the Stanford Neurosciences Health Center, Emeryville Neurodiagnostic Lab, and Pleasanton Neurodiagnostic Lab. Be Part of a Tight Knit Team: Our Outpatient NDL is tight knit, collaborative and supportive. Stanford is a world-renowned center for Neurosciences, offering new methods of treating and diagnosing a variety of neurologic diseases. The mission is to deliver the best available care and beyond, while pushing the forefronts of neurodiagnostic care beyond the ordinary. The Outpatient NDL department allows staff the ability to learn a wide variety of procedures and techniques including : · EMG · Ambulatory EEG · Routine EEG · LTM EEG · EP · Autonomic Testing · TCD · HVF and OCT · ECG · CDP · Gait Analysis Our group of Neurologists, Fellows and Residents help to make technologists feel supported in and outside of their role.
