About The Position

Simple Steps, LLC is searching for a professional and enthusiastic Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) in the Bentonville, VA area to provide Music Therapy services for veterans in need. This is an employee position. PART-TIME with a potential to increase hours due to Veteran needs! Simple Steps, LLC is a family owned and operated company that collaborates with various organizations to provide in-home and community programming for wounded veterans. We utilize one-on-one care to foster positive relationships with our clients in order to facilitate their personal success. The Music Therapist provides individualized therapeutic sessions for our veterans. We have a calling to change people’s lives in a positive way, working to help veterans—so they can lead more rewarding lives. We provide honest and professional care, bringing together a variety of services to focus on improving the welfare of all our veterans in need.

Requirements

MT-BC Certification
Bachelor's degree or higher
Resume
CPR Certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association only)
Social Security Card
Driver's License

Responsibilities

Assisting clients with cognitive and physical limitations.
Facilitating therapeutic music activities to foster client growth.
Submit weekly documentation with session observations and client progress.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to foster communication and team unity.
