Rumford Community Home is seeking a Per Diem, Certified Medicine Tech (CNA) to join our team! Responsible for the medication administration of the assigned nursing unit. Essential Duties: Administers medication by oral, rectal, topical, inhalation, eye or ear routes, under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs the following nursing documentation as assigned by the charge nurse or supervisor. Takes initial vital signs and measurements and documents them on the vital sign flowsheet. Assists with orientation of patient/resident/family to unit, facility and services. Delivers patient/resident care promptly and accurately as directed by the RN/LPN and in accordance with the patient’s/resident’s written plan of care. Contributes relevant and appropriate information to RN/LPN for revision of the plan of care, and interdisciplinary conferences as appropriate. Reinforces compliance of RN/LPN teaching and plan of care. Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoast Maine.
