About The Position

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to support adults in a person-centered residential setting. This role goes beyond traditional medication administration - you will play a key role in supporting daily routines, building relationships, and contributing to individualized care plans that promote independence, dignity, and quality of life. This is a great fit for candidates who enjoy hands-on care in a structured, low-ratio environment and want to make a meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • Medication Technician Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • CPR / First Aid Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Weekend availability required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IDD / developmental disabilities
  • Residential or group home experience
  • Behavioral health or DSP background
  • Experience with PointClickCare

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications in accordance with Pennsylvania regulations
  • Accurately document medication administration and observations
  • Monitor for side effects or changes in condition
  • Support and contribute to Individual Support Plans (ISP)
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Support structured daily routines in a home-like setting
  • Prepare simple meals based on dietary needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe living environment
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents
  • Encourage independence and self-direction
  • Promote dignity, respect, and person-centered care
  • Transport residents to appointments and activities
  • Encourage participation in social and life-skill development
