Requirements
- Active Certified Medication Technician certification in good standing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of hands-on experience as a CMT, ideally in a dynamic healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with electronic health records and documentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
- Document all medication administration and promptly report any changes in resident condition.
- Work under the supervision of a registered or delegating nurse.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Keep your Maryland Board of Nursing certification current.
- Follow all state regulations and facility policies for medication administration.
- Report and document incidents or medication errors in accordance with policy.
