About The Position

Temah Healthcare Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring client health, and supporting daily care within a behavioral and mental health setting. Requirements

• Active Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or residential setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• MUST HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with mental health or substance use populations
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to clients in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain up-to-date records
• Monitor clients for side effects, reactions, or changes in condition and report concerns to nursing staff
• Assist with daily living activities as needed (ADLs)
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory of medications
• Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to support client care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
