About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at our healthcare facility. The Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for administering medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Medication Aide
• Previous experience in medication administration preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
• CMA: 2 years (Required)
• Rehabilitation Center: 2 years (Preferred)
• Active CNA & CMA licenses License/Certification: Certified Medical Assistant & CNA (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in medication administration preferred
• Rehabilitation Center: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Ensure patients receive medications on time and in the correct dosage
• Document medication administration in patients' charts
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medication and report them to healthcare providers
• Assist healthcare providers in updating medication orders and ensuring accurate medication administration
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
