Typical Work Schedule is: (Days/Hours) Role Responsibilities A Medication Aide assists in the administering of medications to skilled nursing/nursing home residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services. The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this State.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Current, unencumbered, certification as a Nursing Assistant in NC
Current, unencumbered, certification as a Medication Aide in NC
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace

Nice To Haves

One (1) year Medication Aide experience or more

Responsibilities
