About The Position

At Briarwood Detox & Nova Recovery Center, your work directly supports people during one of the most critical moments of their lives—the beginning of recovery. We’re looking for a Certified Medication Aide to join our dedicated nursing team in a residential detox and addiction recovery setting. Requirements

• Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Nice To Haves

• Experience in detox, residential treatment, or healthcare preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, inhaled, and topical medications under nurse supervision
• Verify client information and record vital signs
• Observe clients for medication reactions and report concerns promptly
• Assist nurses with client care, observation, and communication
• Document medication administration accurately in the EMR
• Maintain medication and medical supply inventory
• Ensure equipment is functioning, clean, and properly maintained
• Support nursing and admissions teams as needed
• Uphold confidentiality, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
• Attend required trainings, meetings, and continuing education
• Represent Briarwood/Nova Recovery with professionalism and compassion
