About The Position

Marion Assisted Living is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our night shift team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring residents receive safe, timely medication administration and supportive care in a calm, respectful, and home-like environment. Requirements

• Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred
• Ability to work independently and stay alert throughout overnight hours
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-centered mindset

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Monitor residents for medication side effects or changes in condition and report concerns promptly
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, including toileting, repositioning, and nighttime routines
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of medications and care provided
• Provide a safe, quiet, and supportive environment during overnight hours
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Communicate effectively with nurses and other team members regarding resident status
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures
• Support a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment for residents
