Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - Full Time Skyview at Bridgeport, Bridgeport, NE Skyview at Bridgeport is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate care team. This role requires both CNA and CMA certifications , and is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing safe, attentive, and resident-centered care. As a Certified Medication Aide, you'll play a key role in supporting our nursing team by safely administering medications, monitoring residents, and ensuring accurate documentation-while building meaningful relationships with those in your care.

Requirements

  • Active Nebraska Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Active Nebraska Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months of experience as a Medication Aide preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of medical and pharmacological terminology

Responsibilities

  • Administer routine daily medications (prescription and non-prescription) in accordance with physician orders and facility policy
  • Accurately document medication administration, dosages, and times
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and care staff to support resident needs
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
  • Follow written and verbal instructions related to medication management
  • Collect samples for testing as directed
  • Ensure medication carts and related equipment are properly maintained and cleaned
  • Respond promptly to resident call lights, alarms, and emergency signals
  • Uphold all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
