About The Position

Juniper is currently seeking dedicated Care Aides to join our team. This role is essential in providing physical support to residents, ensuring they remain engaged, safe, and independent. We are looking for individuals who can work full-time overnight shifts or part-time on weekends. Candidates must have memory care experience and hold a Certified Medication Aide certification in the state of New Jersey. The starting pay for this position is $24.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved medication administration course.
• Successful completion of a nurse aide training course if state regulated.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Successful completion of a CPR and First Aid course.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.
