Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Full and Part Time
About The Position
Sprenger Health Care is a third generation, leading developer, owner and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Through their 12-nursing home, 10 assisted living, and 8 independent living communities encompassing nearly 2,000 beds, they provide exceptional health care services, including long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. This position is for a Certified Medication Aide at Amherst Manor in Amherst, OH.
Requirements
- Must be a nursing assistant in accordance with the state regulations.
- Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a Certified Medication Aide, having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination, and must provide documentation of such certification and show proof of state certification upon application for the position.
Responsibilities
- Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service policies and procedures.
- Provide direct resident care as assigned.
- Complete tub baths, showers or bed baths.
- Take residents to dining room and assist in feeding as assigned.
- Give personal care to all residents assigned.
