Certified Medication Aide (CMA) ā Day Shift, Correctional Healthcare TK Health Clinics š Location: Pottawatomie County Jail ā Shawnee, OK š Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM ā 7:00 PM) Rotating weekends š Vaccinations not required About TK Health Clinics TK Health Clinics is a correctional healthcare provider serving jails and detention centers across Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Illinois, Wisconsin and Texas. Our teams oversee day-to-day healthcare operations in facilities with inmate populations ranging from 25 to nearly 2,000. Position Summary The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) provides vital support to patients and nursing staff by administering medications and assisting with patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Requirements
- Valid CMA certification
- Ability to pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed and directed
- Assist with routine patient care and monitoring
- Accurately document medication administration and patient information
- Collaborate with nursing and healthcare staff
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
