Requirements

  • License/Certification: Must be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) with valid Kansas certification; CPR certification required
  • Experience: Previous experience in assisted living, healthcare, or senior care preferred
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
  • Accurately set up, administer, and document medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or response to medication
  • Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and fellow staff
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines
