About The Position
The medical interpreter will provide essential interpretation services to patients and their families with limited English proficiency (LEP) at WellStar. This role aims to enhance understanding of medical procedures, treatment options, and follow-up care while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and HIPAA standards. The interpreter will facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, promote language access services, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
