The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Glen Burnie, MD is a clinical staff position with responsibility for specified patient care duties within Entaa Care, a practice pod of Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians LLC. Shift: Full Time (40 hours) Day Shifts 8:00 am - 5:00pm Weekend Work Not Required.

  • Perform specified patient care duties within the clinical setting.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using computerized EMR systems.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, patients, families, and outside agencies.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or possession of GED.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a clinical setting or physician office.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program.
  • Current training and certification in basic life support (BLS) required.
  • ENT and/or Allergy experience preferred.
  • Experience with computerized EMR (electronic medical records) systems highly desirable.
  • Salary Range: Minimum $19.50/hour - Maximum $24.00/hour.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
