About The Position

To coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program; Medical Assistant curriculum must include pharmacology and medication administration
• Must be obtained by the last day of the sixth month of hire, and an education agreement signed
• Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required
• Current State Driver’s License (Palliative Care Only), required
• Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing

Nice To Haves

• Previous work in a medical office, preferred
