Certified Medical Assistant - Washington Heights Ambulatory Care Network – Days Provide compassionate patient focus and superior customer service -keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties at our outpatient clinics to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Assist practitioners and Management by performing blood draws, taking vital signs, and outreach call. Welcome, screen, and direct patients, visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities. This full time position will work 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM , no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a State and/or Nationally accredited Medical Associate Program
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certification of Medical Assistant by the following certifying bodies NHA, AMT, AAMA or NCCT
  • BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience with pediatrics, OB/GYN, and/or internal medicine patients in an outpatient setting
