About The Position

We're seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (PRN) to join our physician practice team. In this flexible, as-needed role, you'll provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure seamless patient care and efficient daily operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent (Required)
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - must obtain within 60 days of hire
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and patient service abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable multitasking and handling high-volume workflow

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and nurses with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests and specimen collections.
• Accurately document patient information, care provided, and any changes in condition.
• Maintain and prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies (cleaning, restocking, troubleshooting).
• Support front office duties such as scheduling, registration, data entry, and reception tasks.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members to ensure quality service and a positive patient experience.
