As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. More about our team Rheumatology is the subspecialty of internal medicine concerned with joints, muscles and bones and their roles in health and disease. FryeCare Internal Medicine & Rheumatology provides care and treatment for a variety of rheumatic diseases. Our rheumatologist also offers joint injections as treatment for rheumatic diseases. Rheumatology services we provide include: Diagnoses and treatment of a variety of rheumatic diseases including: Lupus Rheumatoid arthritis Psoriatic arthritis Ankylosing spondylitis Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) related arthritis Scleroderma Vasculitis Myositis and more What we’re looking for- a motivated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant who will be a vital link between our patients and providers, possessing a deep commitment to delivering excellent care with efficiency and a positive attitude.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • One year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately identifies patient needs
  • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
  • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
