About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant
Sign-On for Eligible New Hires
Work location: 3801 William D Tate - Suite 840 Grapevine, TX 76051
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Thursday (730am-5pm), Fridays (730am-12noon) - must be flexible with hours based on clinic needs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

• Willing to consider a New CMA with completion of an Externship (PREFERRED)
• ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
• Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
• Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
• Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
• May work in the front office as needed
• May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
