About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a physician. The CMA is also responsible for clerical duties, when needed, to facilitate departmental operations and efficiency. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• CMA certification from an accredited program, required
• Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Highly organized and detail oriented; particularly in regard to time management
• Ability to prioritize key objectives while performing daily tasks as well as the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to effectively utilize applicable electronic systems and programs

Nice To Haves

• BLS/CPR certification, preferred
