Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program
In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience
No experience required
In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience
BCLS - Basic Life Support
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization
National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
