About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy outpatient clinic in Maryville, Tennessee . This role supports both adult and pediatric patients and requires experience in general and internal medicine settings. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and comfortable working in both clinic and private physician office environments.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- BLS certification (current)
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on EPIC experience (required)
- Experience in adult and pediatric outpatient clinics
- Prior experience in private physician office settings
- Background in general and internal medicine clinics
- COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
- Flu Vaccine: Required (No exemptions)
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures
- Perform clinical and administrative duties in an outpatient setting
- Document patient information accurately using EPIC EMR
- Support both adult and pediatric patient populations
- Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and patient care standards
