On a typical day, you’ll: Provide patient care, administer medications, and assist with exams, treatments, and minor procedures. Room and prepare patients for visits, gathering accurate health histories and vitals. Document assessments, interventions, medications, and test results in the medical record. Process non-emergent patient calls and provide physician-guided advice. Schedule procedures, manage authorizations/referrals, and assist with prescription refills. Promote wellness by sharing patient education and supporting physician guidance. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and confidentiality policies.

Requirements

  • Current CMA certification (from an accredited organization).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of medical office and EHR experience.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for patient-centered care.
