About The Position

This role provides vital support to all ENT physician teams at the Kenwood location. Rather than being assigned to a single provider, the individual will assist multiple high-volume traveling and permanent physicians, working closely with their designated medical assistants and nurses. Key responsibilities include patient intake and rooming, room turnover, instrument processing, patient calls, appointment scheduling, and scanning. Experience with Epic and ENT is beneficial but not required. Job Overview: This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. This position’s tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties. Location: 8240 Northcreek Dr - ENT Office Primary office will be Kenwood, but may need to rotate to other sites based on PTO/FLMA coverage Work Hours: Full-time position: 80 hours bi-weekly Day shift No weekends, holidays or call

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved technical, professional ,or vocational program
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), through AMT, NCCT, or NHA, or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Current and active RN or LPN licensure also acceptable
  • EKG
  • Injections
  • Venipuncture
  • Performance of common lab tests according to establish CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy
  • Up to 1 year experience medical/physician office setting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Epic and ENT is beneficial but not required.
