Collecting specimens, preparing them for the lab, and ensuring everything is handled with the utmost care. Answering questions, providing clear instructions, and offering a comforting presence to parents who might be feeling a bit overwhelmed. Requirements
- Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
- Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
