About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a busy outpatient cardiology physician practice . This role involves a blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities , ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.

Proficiency with EMR systems and accurate data entry
Rooming patients
Taking vital signs
EMR usage
High School Diploma or GED
AHA BLS Certification
One of the following Medical Assistant certifications: CMA (NHA, NCCT, or AAMA) RMA (AMT or NAHP) AMCA NCMA

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Blood draw experience preferred but not required
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program

Responsibilities

Prepare exam and treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies
Room patients and assist physicians during examinations
Obtain, document, and update patient vital signs
Perform clinical testing after competency validation, including: EKG Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Audiometry Titmus testing
Conduct UDS, BAT, phlebotomy, and other lab procedures as required
Maintain accurate patient charts and medical records
Assist with billing, collections, and administrative support as needed
Utilize EMR systems and office software for documentation and scheduling
Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies
Deliver patient-centered care respectful of age, culture, language, and special needs
Perform additional duties as assigned
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, or pull as required
