About The Position

Sentara Infectious Disease Specialists are seeking to hire an individual to join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant! QUALIFIED CANDIDATES CAN RECEIVE A $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS! Position Location: Hampton, VA Position Status: Full-time Standard Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30 pm Overview Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
1 year of clinical or administrative experience

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)
Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
