About The Position

Seattle Radiology is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Imaging team. We're an outpatient Imaging Center, located in Seattle, Washington. This is a day shift position working 4-10's during the weekday. Working as an MA in our radiology practice offers a unique and rewarding perspective on patient care. Unlike traditional MA positions, radiology allows you to be directly involved in the imaging side of medicine—where the diagnosis begins. In this position, you’ll take on a variety of hands-on responsibilities, working closely with patients across specialty modalities such as MRI/Breast MR, and CT. You’ll work alongside technologists and radiologists, playing an important role in ensuring both safety and quality care throughout the imaging experience. Location: Located in beautiful Seattle, Washington. Nestled between the shimmering waters of Puget Sound and the towering peaks of the Cascade and Olympic Mountains, Seattle offers breathtaking views and abundant outdoor activities. The hourly wage is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to direct job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, required
Certified Medical Assistant license, required
Healthcare experience required, experience in Radiology setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists technologists with patient prep, consenting, exams and procedures.
Assists with obtaining and reviewing patient orders.
Assists in acquiring all necessary documentation and information from referring providers, patients, and insurance plans to help facilitate patient care.
Assists with scheduling exams and clinic procedures.
Serves as a liaison between the technologists, referring providers, scheduling team and patients to ensure all necessary information is communicated to appropriate parties accurately and professionally to deliver quality patient care.
Communicates positively and effectively with patients, referring providers and all members of the team.
Processes and handles patient information confidentially in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and partner facility policies.
Continuously assists in providing workflow feedback to improve the patient experience across the continuum of care.
