About The Position

Clinical Partnership: Facilitate patient examinations and treatments, working under the direct guidance of providers and nursing leadership to deliver exceptional care. Patient Advocacy: Be the first friendly face patients see; you’ll interview patients, capture vital signs, and ensure their medical history is accurately reflected in their charts. Clinical Readiness: Take ownership of the clinical environment by preparing treatment rooms and managing essential supplies, ensuring every exam starts on the right foot. Precision Documentation: Act as a clinical scribe by documenting patient encounters, recording diagnoses, and transcribing follow-up instructions or prescriptions exactly as directed by the provider. Workflow Coordination: Manage the "behind-the-scenes" essentials, from transcribing laboratory and radiology orders to handling light clerical duties and record-keeping.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Registry of Medical Assistants also accepted.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
