About The Position
Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and /or Administrator. Responsible for daily operations of laboratory equipment including phlebotomy and obtaining plain film X-rays.
Requirements
- Approved nursing or medical assistant course.
- Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
- Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
- Computer literacy.
- Maintain Certification
- Limited X-ray Operator Licensure, or obtain within 6 months of hire
- Certified by the a National Certification Board (National Center for Competency Testing) or obtain withing 6 months of hire date.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire date
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year experience.
- Phlebotomy experience
- Radiology experience
Responsibilities
- Performs direct patient care duties as assigned.
- Triage and rooming of patients
- Provides for patient safety.
- Possesses the ability to perform day to day clerical task and related duties.
- Participates in ongoing educational activities.
- Completes assigned goals.
