About The Position

Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing Otolaryngology group. This role supports providers by delivering high-quality clinical and administrative care to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Requirements

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred (ENT or specialty experience a plus)
Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and medical terminology
Proficiency with EMR systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
Assist providers with ENT examinations, procedures, and minor in-office treatments
Prepare and clean exam rooms and ensure proper infection control standards
Perform ear cleanings, audiology prep, nasal endoscopy prep, allergy testing support, and other ENT-related tasks (training provided as needed)
Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider
Perform EKGs, venipuncture, and specimen collection when applicable
Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Review and update patient charts prior to visits
Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up care
Assist with scheduling, patient callbacks, and care coordination as needed
Maintain accurate inventory of medical supplies and equipment
