We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical and administrative support to our physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). You will play a critical role in patient care, helping maintain efficient clinic operations while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

  • Prepare the clinic for daily operations, including chart prep, exam room setup, and equipment checks.
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, specimen collection, injections, blood draws, and catheterization using sterile techniques.
  • Schedule surgeries, outpatient services, and assist with prior authorizations, Title 19s, and Letters of Medical Necessity.
  • Maintain patient flow, answer patient calls, return messages, process prescriptions, and document all communications in the EHR.
  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and clinic areas, maintain OSHA and CLIA compliance, and perform weekly autoclave spore testing.
  • Manage medical supplies and ensure exam rooms and provider files are fully stocked.
  • Maintain accurate patient charts and records, including chart take-down and scanning of PHI.
  • Perform special projects or tasks as assigned by the Administrator.
  • Active Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) certification and required CEUs.
  • Basic understanding of urology-related terminology, medications, procedures, and instruments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and use independent judgment.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures, specimen collection, vital signs, urinalysis, instrument sterilization, and EMR/PM systems.
  • Professional appearance (scrubs required) and demeanor.
