As a Certified Medical Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care. Requirements

CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification
At least one year of Medical Assistant experience
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
Growth mindset
Flexibility and resilience

Responsibilities

Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms
Triage patients as necessary
Administer vaccines and injections
Record patient data prior to the physician’s visit
Assist physicians with exams and a wide variety of procedures
Administer medications
Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed
Maintain proper disinfection protocols
Complete prior authorizations for medications and diagnostic imaging
Phone in prescriptions and distribute proper medications as ordered by the provider
