About The Position

Certified Medical Assistant - Southern TN Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine (Full-Time) Job Summary Join our growing outpatient team at Southern Tennessee Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine . The Certified Medical Assistant provides both clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Assist providers with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures. Perform basic diagnostic tests and specimen collection. Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition and document all care provided. Maintain equipment, supplies, and exam areas. Support front-office functions such as scheduling, registration, and data entry.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
  • License/Certification: CCMA, CMA, or RMA required; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
  • Skills: Critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
