About the position
We are excited to announce an opportunity for full-time Medical Assistants at our office located in Leetsdale, PA. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare to our patients. Your responsibilities will include both clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. We are also offering a hiring bonus of up to $1,000 to welcome you to our team!
Responsibilities
- Collect vital signs and patient history
- Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tests
- Administer injections and medications as directed by provider
- Order supplies and maintain medical records
- Obtain referrals and authorizations
- Schedule appointments
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification (i.e., AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA)
- CPR Certification
- Computer experience
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
Nice-to-haves
- Medical Assistant diploma or degree program
- Minimum of one year medical assisting experience
- Proficient in venipuncture
