Certified Medical Assistants support efficient and high-quality care with robust check-ins and patient screening, collaborating with the care team and building patient relationships. Requirements

  • Current certification/licensure as Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and Licensure from South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
  • Current certification as Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA or CCMA)
  • BLS certification
  • Certified Medical Assistant through one of these institutions- Required CMA from the Certification Alliance of Health Care Professionals RMA from the American Medical Technologists NCMA from the National Healthcare Association CCMA from the National Healthcareer Association
  • Certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Required
  • Licensure from South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) - Required
